Calling all backcountry chefs!
We LOVE our volunteers! So we try to plan for some of the best meals possible to cook and enjoy in the backcountry after a long day of work on the trail. Duties include: prepping breakfast & coffee and setting out lunch items in the morning, and then prepping an appetizer and dinner in the evening. That leaves you the afternoon to enjoy solitude in camp, explore your surroundings, or forage for huckleberries!
If you are interested in volunteering with SBFC, but would prefer to utilize your backcountry cooking skills, we would love to have you join us on any of the following projects:
Middle Fork Trail: June 26-July 1 (Position Filled)
Bear Creek Overlook: July 27-28
Bighorn Crags: August 7-13
Upper Marble Creek: August 21-27 (Position Filled)
Roaring Lion: August 31-September 1
