Volunteers will be accessing a remote part of the Idaho Centennial Trail (ICT) in desperate need of attention. Beginning at Thomas Creek, SBFC staff, volunteers, and packers will work northwest along Marble Creek toward Canyon Creek, approximately 6 miles. From Canyon Creek to the targeted destination, Buck Creek, it is about 7 miles of nearly impassable trail with overgrown vegetation and dense brush, and debris. There are many stream crossings which need restoration and brushing. Trail work will include re-treading, clearing downed trees with crosscuts, and brushing with loppers. This project is not for the faint of heart!
