What about food?

The SBFC project leader for your trip will take care of all of the meals. We take pride in providing as much healthy and fresh food as possible to refuel our volunteers in the field. When you sign up for a project and complete the registration form, we will ask you to list any food allergies or dietary preferences that you might have. If your dietary preferences are very specific, please follow up with us so we can make the necessary accommodations during our grocery shopping and menu planning.    

About 3 weeks before the project, the crew leader will contact you with project details and provide their personal contact information. This is a great opportunity to notify the project leader about anything that is important to you in regards to food and menu planning. However, if there are some food items that you just can’t live without, you may certainly bring them!
