DESCRIPTION:

Back for a third year, join SBFC for our women’s project in the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness! Spend your week improving trails and practicing wilderness ethics amongst a crew of female volunteers.

This project will include clearing downed trees and brush from the trail, with a heavy focus on reestablishing the trail tread. Build camaraderie and community while retreading, and don’t forget to bring your creek crossing shoes!

This project is for women of all ages and experience levels! Whether a seasoned trail worker or a first-time backpacker, enjoy this unique respite among an awesome group of women in the stunning Frank Church Wilderness!

This is a moderate trip with pack support. A packer will haul in tools, equipment, group gear, and food. However, individuals will need to carry their personal gear and items (see packing list).

SBFC will provide breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks.
