DESCRIPTION:

The primary focus of this project will be to clear downfall and brush vegetation on the Sulphur Creek, Camptender, and Silver Moon trails (#4046, #4027, and #4040). This 18-mile loop route passes through an old burn area with heavy downfall and brushy vegetation. The work will also include repairing trail tread, cleaning campsites, removing trash, and improving trail drainage. Join us as we set out to open the trails in this remote corner of the FC-RONR Wilderness for a third consecutive summer!

This is a moderate-strenuous trip with pack support. We will have a packer to haul in tools, equipment, group gear, and food. However, individuals will need to carry their own personal gear and items (see packing list).

SBFC will provide breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks.
