Boise Ridge to Rivers Fall Planting & Fence Removal Project

Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026 (Approximately 9 AM-1 PM)

Location: Boise, ID

Difficulty: Moderate. Requires hiking on uneven terrain.

SBFC is excited to partner with Ridge to River for the continuation of our spring Boise volunteer day! Volunteers will work alongside R2R staff and SBFC staff to remove old, dilapidated fencing and plant native plants along the River View Trail.

Gloves, closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a desire to complete manual labor are required. We'll have some extra gloves for volunteers who don't have them. 

Volunteers should bring snacks and plenty of water! A backpack to carry these items is also a good idea. Plan on about 3-4 hours of work.

Tools and instructions will be provided.
