Celebrate the fall season in the stunning Selway Crags! Join us for a long weekend of stewardship along the Fog Mountain Trail #343 and the Big Rock Trail #693. This project features beautiful scenery, from the banks of the Wild & Scenic Selway River to the high-elevation vistas of Fog Mountain. This is a prime spot for photography or stargazing during the crisp fall nights.
Our primary focus will be on improving drainage structures and cleaning water bars ahead of the oncoming winter and subsequent snowmelt. Other tasks include clearing fallen trees and repairing and stabilizing the trail tread.
Please note that Fog Mountain Road can be steep and rutted. High-clearance vehicles are encouraged, and trailers are not recommended.
SBFC will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
