Renwyck/ Antelope #141/138 trail loop
Dates: August 20-23, 2026
Location: Boise National Forest
Trailhead/Basecamp: Trailhead-based car camping
Difficulty: Moderate
Details:
SBFC is thrilled to offer a long-weekend volunteer opportunity on the scenic Boise National Forest! Located just north of the Sage Hen Reservoir on the Emmett Ranger District, this project focuses on a loop route situated just outside a recent burn area.
The trail will be cleared of major downfall ahead of our arrival, allowing our crew to complete essential “touch-up” work that makes a trail truly sustainable. Tasks will include cleaning drains, improving trail tread, and brushing vegetation.
This is a moderate project with trailhead-based car camping (perfect for those who enjoy backcountry work without the long backpacking miles).
Unlike our wilderness hitches, meals are not provided by SBFC for this project. Instead, registered volunteers can request a $32/day per diem reimbursement. A simple reimbursement form will be provided.
