Boise Ridge to Rivers Fence Removal

Date: April 25, 2026 (Approximately 9 AM-1 PM)

Location: Boise, ID. Meet-up location TBA.

Difficulty: Moderate. Requires hiking on uneven terrain.

SBFC is excited to partner with Ridge to Rivers for a Boise volunteer day!

Volunteers will be removing old, dilapidated wire fence in the newly acquired Statz property -  https://www.cityofboise.org/news/parks-and-recreation/2025/october/city-of-boise-seeks-to-add-two-properties-for-open-space-park-access/. 

Gloves, closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a desire to complete manual labor are required. We'll have some extra gloves for volunteers who don't have them. 

Volunteers should bring something to eat (snacks) and plenty of WATER! A backpack to carry these items is also a good idea. Plan on about 4 hours of work.
