Experience the heart of the Middle Fork District! Join us to explore and steward iconic trails surrounding the Loon Creek Guard Station in the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness. This rugged landscape is defined by towering peaks, deep canyons, and the legendary Middle Fork of the Salmon River.
Working on the Loon Creek Trail #4101 and/or other area trails, our crew will focus on essential maintenance to keep this wilderness corridor open and accessible. Come prepared for a week of rewarding work, breathtaking scenery, and camaraderie.
Pack support will be provided by the U.S. Forest Service to carry in tools, equipment, group gear, and food to basecamp. Participants will be responsible for carrying their personal gear and clothing into camp (see packing list).
SBFC will provide breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks.
